Look for informal tracks, trampled plants, exposed roots.

Look for tyre tracks, crushed vegetation, oil stains.

Look for digging holes, droppings, disturbed nesting.

Look for hoof prints, dung, browse damage, broken fencing.

Look for rabbit burrows (10cm holes), possum sign, droppings.

Score % of total vegetation that is native.

Score % of birds observed that are native.

Score % of reptiles observed that are native (score 3 if unsure).

Score % of bare sand caused by human disturbance.

Score width and quality of indigenous buffer between dune and adjacent land use.
